Schier Shoes is on top of their game right now. It's just one of those brands that does everything right! The leopard ones are priceless. Velskoen (pronounced “fell-skoon”) were originally developed from the footwear of the Khoikhoi tribe in the 1600′s, and are the predecessor of the modern desert boot. Affectionately called ‘vellies’, Schier Shoes – www.schiershoes.com are made from vegetable-dyed Kudu leather and are hand made in Swakopmund, Namibia by eight Damara men who create 20 pairs an afternoon. These boots are made to last and can be passed down through to younger children, or you can donate them back to Schier who will re-home them and then forward you a postcard of thanks from their new owner.
